it's nothing to scoff at, but it could be taken down very quickly. my previous statement is assuming full attacks (no actions saved for dodge/other), successful hits on all, and likely no parried/dodged attacks by the defender. when you take those into account, it would be harder to do 80 MD in that time, but it is still possible. though if you consider that there would likely be more than one person attacking, the amount of damage per attack would be reduced or the number of required successful strikes per person would be reduced. either way, better safe than sorry in Rifts... it's very easy to die... just ask Mike and his (so-called) Super-Saiyans.

and I was referring to any encounters we might have after we team up...*if* we team up...Misa'd never strike a first blow against a fellow psionic unless she was attacked first. Actually, i'm kinda interested. It seems like zappers are the natural enemy of your psionic RCC, whatever it is. Misa's more mischievous than anything else, though.

hey, so this means that you can play as a robotech pilot, right? 'cause robotech is a part of palladium books?

you are correct, sir. in fact, you can even have the SDF-1 (that's what it's called, right?). in fact it is one of (if not the) only thing that actually destroys anything in its path. the line in the book is actually quite funny to me, because it says something like that for the main cannon damage. robotech is technically an SDC universe, but there are conversion books that translate the damage/armor of vehicles and the like into the Rifts universe.

what about making your own character class types? like, if I wanted to play a, for example, super saiyan, you could make that, right? but it'd have to be balanced? or something?

if Ben has any of Mike's old character sheets there may already be a archetype for creating a super-saiyan. but, yes, essentially you can be anything you want. of course, creating an OCC/RCC is much more difficult than it might seem because there should be some semblance of balance involved. of course, you could throw that out the window and make something horribly powerful... but Ben would have final say on any custom character builds. from what he's said previously, i'd guess he would approve almost anything though. you might just screw over the rest of us, haha.

mmm, i was just wondering. If I ever do create a custom character, I'd play a normal psionic type. Maybe tweak around the skill set a little, but that'd be all. I really didn't like any of the psionics in the core rulebook, and only found one that I liked in psyscape.

DAMN PEOPLE SLOW DOWN Razz That took way too long to catch up on. Anyway, yes you could tweak skill selection, just verify with me. For instance if you want to tweak it so you can take all the physical skills you want, you'll have to give up quite a bit. If you want to be able to us rogue skills instead of mechanic because of the background you are going for, I'll most likely let you swap on an even basis. It'll be a case by case deal. You can make a saiyan character, using a heroe's template is the easiest. We would have to work together on it, I do like some semblance of balance. Though, if you want to make a saiyan, I'll just return woof-woof to life and finish you off as I've finished off 2 of mike's saiyans.

brain scan is absolutely useless. I have no skills or abilities that benefit from having it. Nor would my character (or zappers in general) really care about tumors in someone else's brain...that they themselves can't fix.

i think that you have no one in your group currently. all the active members were transferred into jerry's group for chapter 2... which has gone unresolved. though, jerry did say that in/after december he wants to finish that arc. not sure how often some of the other people check this (gary, zadok, ben #2, that-other-new-guy dark-something-or-other, jack).
