The surface composition is like that of a coiled band of metal, starting from the center of the coin, and wrapping around itself in a spiral. | I remembered, and that's fine, but because this time I was allocating for the group, the Traveler still ended up with a normal party share of items.
In the future, you guys will split up the treasure however you want, at the conclusion of each encounter (even though you don't have to hold the items you claim for the entire adventure - somebody else can hold/use them, though you get to keep them after the adventure is over if you claimed them). At that point, as a group you can decide if you're interested in splitting things up equally (in which case I will help adjudicate), or if it doesn't matter to any of you, in which case I'll sit back.
For the Traveler's current share listed above, you can decide what to do with it since the Traveler is opting not to keep it. One idea is to donate it to fellow group members (you'd be able to donate any of these items to members of DM hikaritenchi's group as well - just because of how the storyline is working), at your discretion. No approval from me is required - all your recipient players have to do is update their char sheets accordingly and send me an updated sheet.
Another option is to donate items to the group fund. This can be expressed in two ways: Since the collective group (both gaming groups combined) have no stronghold yet, you can use Alterith's forest dwelling as a stash point. The group fund is worth investing in because of potential future costs such as group adventuring supplies/gear/equipment, off-Shell travel, group-use items, and so on.
Another way to approach the group fund is for the Traveler to go out and purchase group-use items - these would include healing potions, poison resistance salves, camp supplies, and so on. In this way, the Traveler contributes to the group well-being without seeing any need to spend money on himself, since he would be buying healing potions for the benefit of the entire group.
Or any other options you choose would be fine, or any combination of the above. In any case, the treasure was split, so now you get the joy (hehe) of allocating it at your discretion. This will only have to happen for this adventure. :) | |

When you guys finish updating your character sheets, please fill out the "Character Level Up History" section near the end of your sheets. It's in with the Personal History/Appearance/Etc. boxes.
A sample 2nd-level character level up history (that is sufficient) might be be:
hp 6, 10; saves 2/7/1, 3/7/2; init/atk 7/2/4, 7/3/5; skill pts 48, 60
The same character, once he levels up to 3rd, might update his level up history as follows:
hp 6, 10, 17; saves 2/7/1, 3/7/2, 4/7/3; init/atk 7/2/4, 7/3/5, 7/4/6; skill pts 48, 60, 72
Alex and Gary, I updated your histories for you. I'll send my copy of your copy back to you so you can start using that one and begin updating as of level 3. Trevor and Nick, don't worry about it. Thanks guys! | |

| The city grounds license granted to you at the end of Chapter 1 will be sufficient for travel from Sesolston to Quasqueton.
Don't forget to update your inventories with city grounds license x1, and whoever decides to hold onto the scroll from the mayor.

| Not sure about Gary's status. He hasn't replied yet to a several week-old PM from me.
But I'll be auto-piloting him, so that at least he will be able to contribute in battles. I'm gonna have so much fun having to pretend to second-guess myself and anti-meta game against my meta-game. Not.
Nick and Ben should almost be done with the mechanics of their characters. Currently working out a storyline... it's actually very interesting, I plan on giving everybody tie-ins to each other, background-wise (whether the characters are consciously aware of them or not at this point). So it'll be hopefully really rewarding to see those become revealed and develop later on in the story. :)
I should be posting later this afternoon to push Chapter 2 along. Sweet! | |

| Boomer, I do have a backstory up, pending your approval, and if there's any changes you would recommend (on the profile char. sheet). Mechanically I think I just need to assign skill points. I'll do that now actually. I even added weights to make sure I was only carrying a light load and everything. Question: are we doing this the slow way where we each post actions as we become available (which could be frustrating), or is there a time when we should all be online, and if so, then when? | |

| It's the former format. It may indeed be more frustrating but I feel it'd be too much of a headache to organize a time when everybody would be available. As time goes on, I expect the improvement in my time management skills to directly benefit the pace of this game.
Important: Did I provide you with a character sheet?? I keep forgetting if I did or not, but I'm requiring all players to submit the same character sheet to me so as to be easier to handle organizationally.
If you created a character using any kind of document file already however, you may feel free to just email me whatever you have, and I can add it to my special format and then email it back to you for record purposes.
The "character sheet" provided on the forum profiles are just for quick reference purposes, so that every little change in wealth/treasure/hp/status conditions won't have to see a new revision of the entire base character sheet.
