Selling cloth, glassware, copper ingots, oil, herbs & spices, MW cutlass, and MW light crossbow, total book value of 28733. Multiply by 0.4 (40% sell value) to get Distributable gold: 11493.2gp.

Even the shares by matching all player's loot to the highest value of loot by one character

Squin is highest at 4845, so:
Krytox: 4845-2708 = 2137
Rasa: 4845-3661 = 1184
Alterith: 4845-3705 = 1140
11493.2 - 2137 - 1184 - 1140 = 7032.2 Remaining GP
7032.2 / 4 = 1758.05gp each


Krytox gets everything listed in his share plus 3895gp and 5cp
Rasa gets everything listed in his share plus 2942gp and 5cp
Alterith gets everything listed in his share plus 2898gp and 5cp
Squin gets everything listed in his share plus 1758gp and 5cp

Add those totals to your GP, PP, SP, and CP, depending how you want your portion, and lets get on with chapter 3!

All: I've made some revisions to the forum character sheet format - most significantly, it is now viewable only by me. Please review the form changes I've made to the sheet, and revise your character information accordingly (let me know if I should add an extra info field to accommodate something).

Thanks to those of you who have already done so, but I will no longer require you to email me updates to your character sheets. I've decided to go entirely with these forum character sheets and you will only need to keep your own Word/Excel character sheets for your records.

Please follow the suggested formats in each field (some give you free reign, others ask for a specific display method). Definitely ask me questions if some info looks like it should fit, but doesn't.

I'm still preparing the next adventure, so most likely by the time your online sheets are updated, I'll be able to post. I'm anticipating tomorrow evening at the latest. Thanks!

Ok...so I think I'm all updated...but what exactly is the defending cutlass?

a 'defending' weapon as noted in the DMG, is a weapon that can give you a bonus to your AC. The +X associated with a defending weapon can be used as either attack or defense.

Dungeon Master's Guide, pg 224 wrote:

you know..... technically, all of the items in the DMG are also in the PHB. all you need is a feat that allows you to create wonderous items/ magic items/ etc., a bit of gp, and a mage to cast, and you've got just about any magical item you could ever need and want :)

i want some loot too!

consequently, what happens to Mystia's old stuff? like her javelins or buckler or bolts? I'm sure her panties could sell for a hefty sum too.

F yeah they should. But seriously.... Rasa didn't consider her an ally because she hadn't proven herself yet, so he would have no problem looting her body right along with the rest of the bodies. It really all just depends on whether or not the rest of the group would allow it :-P

haha, you'd probably be killed by Squin and I if you tried. Of course, anything of extreme value would probably be saved, but standard weapons, possessions and the like would be buried (or whatever) with the body.

also - I think I'm all set on my character sheet.

Sorry, I have two questions that I couldn't find. Is it possible to buy Masterwork stuff (ie MW chain shirt)? Is it possible to buy potions (ie additional cure potions) and at what price?

Masterwork items: Yes, 300+ the cost of the weapon. For example, a masterwork short sword would be 310gp. 300 for the MW, 10 GP normal cost of short sword. Masterwork items are listed under "special and superior Items in the PHB. Also located on page 124 on the stripped down version of 3.5 that i sent you.

EDIT: Masterwork armor I believe are 150+ estimated cost. (page 127 on the stripped down version of 3.5)

Potions: located in the DMG, so not available at this time.

Guys, I have some news that is exciting for me (and therefore hopefully for you too) but may be disappointing for us from the standpoint of this game. In the near future, at least.

My boss tonight sent me an email giving me the opportunity to show him that I can produce professional-level logo design work. While I can do something approximate by hand that is somewhat impressive, the requirement is that I need to be able to do this using Illustrator/Photoshop. The fact that I have very basic skills in those areas mean that I will need to devote as much time as possible to this endeavor.

This will probably delay our game, as this is a new potential career opportunity in the same company I'm currently working as a client services employee for. Therefore, I ask for your understanding and support as I step up to this challenge and teach myself how to use these programs in a way that can amplify my creative and hand-drawing talents.

I'll be happy to share more details with you as time goes on. Just know that the general timeframe has been:

Feb 09 - employed by this company (direct incorporation) for client phone services and desk paperwork
May 09 - submitted preliminary logo designs (hand drawings and rough photoshop work) to my boss for consideration with potential company logo design services for our clients
Nov 9th, 09 - boss requested those submissions again
Nov 10th, 09 - boss told me that my work currently isn't good enough, but he sees the potential and wants to give me the opportunity, so I have to produce 3 new logo designs that are solid enough (using illustrator/photoshop) to show him that I can do this.

My sincere apologies for my (anticipated) inability to keep up with the dual-weekly deadline, but I will continue doing my best. I am hoping that this will only set us back to a DM post a week.

Good luck! I'd suggest buying a book on it to help you out. I self taught myself PHP, MYSQL and HTML with the help of a book. There are a lot of good resources on the web, but having something that you can just flip to a page to see an example is a big help. Do a little research online about which books are helpful for someone of your skill set and then invest the $20-$50. Just my advice.

Sorry, I was MIA from posting for a little bit. Last week was our distributor training program at work so it was a really long week for me. Fun, because we got to play whirly-ball and eat and drink on the company... but standing and training all day plus not getting any sleep takes it out of you. Anyway, I'm back, and hopefully the game will be soon!
