so Alterith, assisting Squin got a 19, so i'm curious as to how high of a bonus that will give to squin if either of them made it in the first place. who knows, maybe we'll get a discount!

now all we have to do is wait on Jerry to complete Phase 2. Once it is up, take a look at all the stuff, and post what you want. It's ok if someone else has the same thing wanted, we'll find some way to fairly work it out.

To clarify: I took Alterith's roll as the support check for Squin's Diplomacy check to bargain for a better identify cost, NOT as a negotiation check for selling the items in general. The sell rate here in Seawell is currently at 40%.

Squin's total roll is 16 (14 + 2 from Alterith). The merchant's Will save roll was 17. The result is "No Change" in the identify cost, so it remains at 100 gp per (type) of item, the local standard.

The Treasure thread has been updated with values. Please read all ooc notes (some of the important values are in there). Have fun guys, I hope you enjoy this awesome loot. =P

(Btw... in terms of off-Shell travel, the amount you should be looking to save approximately is... around 1,500 gp/Shell traveled, per character, depending on the type of air service, how dangerous the intervening weather patterns, ticket availability, and other factors. This is just a rough value to help your character finances.)

P.S. You can work out the treasure stuff in this OOC thread. Chapter 2 is now closed. My next post will come the Wednesday or Saturday after you guys indicate that you are done sorting out treasure. At that time, this thread will be closed and a fresh new OOC thread opened.

Yeah, I missed the Cha bonus. Whoops. It doesn't affect the outcome, in any case.

I would like 2 cure light wounds, 1 cure moderate wounds, 1 potion of jump, the +1 defending cutlass, 2 masterwork daggers, the salted meat and wine for our hideout, and the rest in gold. I would like a cart and a mule to pull it so we can take anything that we choose not to sell back to my hideout.

It would be awesome to have the frost gauntlets as they are friggin sweet, though I doubt that my ugly reptilian mitts could use something like that. How do banks work? Will we be going back to Alterith's hideout to stash things? Would getting a riding dog (read: guard/war dog) be worthwhile? It could be good for protecting our stuff or defending the less-melee-capable characters in our group (a noble cause IMHO).

Mage Armor does not stack with regular armor, and if you have armor on (which i'm sure you do) it might be a waste of your time. If this is the case and you no longer want it, i'll take both of them. ZADOK: If there is something you want someone else already said they want, feel free to say it. We should do this as fairly as possible, so we'll find a way to distribute it evenly. Probably the easiest way to do this, is whoever spends the least amount of their share gets first preference.

ALL: Though I really don't want it, I'll take the cure mod potion instead of selling it off. I just don't have enough health to be able to make any use of it, but it would be a horrible idea to go to waste.

Also, after Zadok makes his post, if there are no arguments, I'll divide up the remaining portion based on what you have left. Keep in mind you will NOT get your "remaining" amount, as some of that total is currently included in a fully priced item that will only be worth 40% when we sell it.

Don't sell any of the potions, we will make use of them. I would say only sell off the stuff that is useless to us, such as the cloth, the copper ingots, etc. We can store all the weapons and such at the hideout which will make it easier if we break arrows, lose daggers, etc. It's nice to have spares that you don't have to go buy. I didn't want the mage armor, that was alex. And he said he wanted the dog as a guard dog, not as a mount...though the image is entertaining.

mage armor doesn't stack? then i don't care about it. if it stacks, yes, sign me up, otherwise put it back in the pot. weapons should probably be kept, but like ben said... copper ingots, cloth, glassware should all be sold.

duuuurp, look at me ma, i'm ridin' a dog. but seriously, read the stats for a riding dog - it's high quality and can be taught tricks to guard/attack/etc. obviously I wouldn't use it as a mount (unless it's a friggin huge dog... and even then...).

Mage Armor does not stack with regular armor. It stacks with dodge, and dex. (Maybe the monk's wis. too).

BEN: You can hold spares, but that's why i wanted 4 MW daggers total (have one, want 3). The gauntlets also work for me, but everything else is completely useless. So if you want to use your share to hoard weapons we don't need, feel free :)

Jerry - I do want to purchase studded leather and a buckler. I think I lost 2 throwing axes, so I'll need to replace them as well.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION: BEN AND ALEX READ

Krytox and Alterith both expressed interest in keeping all/some of the MW cutlass and/or MW light crossbow. Rasa can't use either weapon, and does not want them to come out of his share. i'll assume squin feels the same as he didn't express interest either way. Would you guys prefer to add some/all to your shares? or do we not need them and should I add it to the total of the sold values when i distribute the rest of the money?

Also, keep in mind that all remaining items and goods will be sold for 40% of their listed value. This amount will be distributed in gp and pp first, to make all of our shares equal, and then from then on, evenly to each character.

I don't feel an overwhelming need to keep the crossbows at all. As for the MW Cutlasses, I have other weapons I'm more likely to use... so again, don't feel a strong need to keep them. Since they are MW, it seems like they could be useful... though as we gain better magical items, in all likelihood these will become less and less worth while. So I guess what I'm saying is that I'd rather have the $$.

Alright, so regardless of whether or not Ben wants to keep any of them, I will "sell" everything left, then divy up the cash. we should be good to start chapter 3 as soon as Ben responds! :) Make sure you send Jerry your updated character sheets. He said you can buy anything out of the PHB. sadly, that includes next to no magical items.

I'm still waiting for word from Jerry about my rejoin status. Hopefully he feels better soon!

Yeah, I don't really care, though I don't need the $ either...I'm not that much of a city goer...money is just for magic as far as I'm concerned...well, that and travel. Maybe I can upgrade my pig's sty. I would only keep the masterwork items because to get an item enchanted it first has to be masterwork. But if nobody is interested then I don't care. I'm only keeping the non-perishable supplies so we don't always have to buy traveling rations and food and stuff. It'll save us a lot of money in the long run. As far as purchases go, I don't really need anything more than what I have currently, however, I do want to buy a signal whistle...everyone needs a whistle. I want to train my pig to gore someone when I blow it 3 times :D
