| Request permission to host a game here by PMing the Admin. If everything checks out, a game forum will be created for you according to your request. In your PM:- Introduce yourself by elaborating on your roleplaying background (favorite game system(s), experience, best and worst roleplaying experiences, are all possibilities - real-life personal info not necessary)
- Summarize what you would like to host: Campaign name (eg. "Wheels of Time"), game system/genre (eg. "D&D, RIFTS, fantasy, modern, Whitewolf, MechWarrior, Shadowrun, etc.")
- Submit a short paragraph summarizing your (in-game) vision for your players (goals, brief summary of adventures you will lead them on, etc.), as well as the campaign name (and how you want your forum to be labeled).
- Identify any of your players that will be signing up so that they can be validated by an Admin. (We require Admin validation to prevent spambots from signing up.)
Regulations- Activity: Please try to stay active on your forums. We won't be too strict with this, but if it's going to be months and months between posts...
- Common sense applies to appropriateness of game settings/topics/character behavior. Double check with the Admin to see if planned topics in your game will be appropriate. Such topics that may be inappropriate include graphic descriptions of extreme violence, sexuality, horror/disturbing material, etc.
- The game forums include the general rules for the rest of the forum (no trolling, warez, etc.)
- One campaign per game forum please. If you plan on co-GMing with somebody else under the same campaign, the two of you can use a single forum.
- You must be 18 or older to host a game on these forums. Sorry, no exceptions. There is no age restriction on players.
The Administration has the final say in any and all rules. This list is succinct and not exhaustive. Though typically advanced warning is given, Administrators can terminate any game for violating these rules without prior warning or justification. | |
