| Ok, so I've finally joined the ranks of owning a real TV. I upgraded from that 27", convex screen, 5000 lb junker I had to a new 55", 3-D LCD. Yes, I know the LED is a better quality TV, but frankly I couldn't justify the extra expense. Best Buy has the 3-D Sony's marked down 50% this week with a free starter kit (2 pairs of glasses, signal transmitter, and 3-D bluray Alice in Wonderland). Total cost was $1800. Didn't need a new player because I intend to use the PS3 which is what they were using in the store to play their 3-D movies, the guy told me it's actually one of the better 3-D bluray players out right now. Now I have to figure out how to get another 2-4 pairs of glasses in case someone else comes over and wants to enjoy it. Also need to find some good 3-D movies so I can take full advantage of it. Right now though I think I'm gonna hook up my computer and play some SC2 on a 55" monitor  Ok, just had to brag a bit, I'm excited about it... | |

| Heh, nah, it was just me bragging, but I won't complain if people come to visit...though I do have a lot going on the next few weekends...next week I'm out of town on saturday, the following week I have a show saturday afternoon at wharton, then the following week alison's dad is going to be here for the weekend...so but I'll make time if people are around any of those weekends...sundays are definitely clearer. | |
