World of Goo Empty

I <3 this game.

I got it for Wii ($15 download) and played it non-stop for about 2-3 weeks. I think it's also available through Steam... which is probably the better way to get it (patches are available, bug fixes, downloadable content, etc.) but i'm still glad I got it for the virtual console. basically it is a puzzle game in which you build trusses/towers/bridges to get 'goo balls' to the end of the specific level. if you liked lemmings, you'd probably like this game. there are a ton of different types of goo balls with various 'abilities' (though i'd say reactions is a better term). it is definitely challenging, but very rewarding when you beat each level. the variety in levels is also excellent. the best part is that it is basically a giant physics simulator as a triangular support holds up much better than a square and such. as you're building towers, the goo balls have weight which makes the tower sway depending on where they are congregating.

the game has been out for some time now, but i finally got it about 2 months ago. great game in my opinion.

10/10 easily. especially considering the replay value and for sure the inexpensive cost for the quality of game involved.

I saw my friend playing this on his computer back in Japan. It definitely seemed like a great game, I just had doubts that my computer could run it efficiently. In any case, I'd like to second the recommendation. Jerry might have an easier time than others? lol

Jerry would probably be good at this game... I mean, isn't it what he went to school for? Wink
